In preparing for the upcoming lesson I noticed a recurring phrase beginning in Deuteronomy 12:5 "the place the Lord your God chooses." I did a concordance search using PC Study Bible which resulted in 21 occurances in Deuteronomy. I did not find this phrase or anything similar with this emphasis anywhere else in Scripture. Draw your own conclusions, but it looks like Moses was looking ahead to the temple in Jerusalem. I've attached a list of the references from the NIV and the HCSB below.See More
